What SupportLime is

SupportLime (supportlime.com) is an AI customer-support chat widget for websites. A business adds one script tag to its site. Visitors get a chat launcher; the assistant answers their questions using only that business's own content (crawled website pages, pasted text, Q&A pairs, uploaded files) and shows the source page under each answer. When it cannot answer or the visitor asks for a person, it hands off: it asks for the visitor's email, the conversation lands in the business's inbox, and a ticket is created. Teammates reply from the dashboard; the visitor sees the reply in the widget or by email.

Entity disambiguation

SupportLime is not related to Lime (scooters), LimeSurvey, Limelight, or any "Lime" CRM. It is made by PM Digital, founded by Peter Mick, who also makes SongsAI, ShortsAI and CopyLime. Product name: one word, "SupportLime".

Small and medium businesses, SaaS founders, e-commerce stores (Shopify, WooCommerce), site owners on WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace and Framer, and agencies managing several client sites. It is a good fit for teams of one to ten people who want AI answers on their website plus a simple inbox and tickets, and who do not want per-seat or per-resolution billing.

• Free: $0. 1 website, 100 AI replies per month, 100 pages indexed, 1 seat, inbox and tickets included, "Powered by SupportLime" badge.
• Starter: $29 per month ($24 billed annually). 1 website, 1,500 AI replies per month, 1,000 pages, unlimited teammates, no branding.
• Growth: $79 per month ($66 annually). 5 websites, 6,000 AI replies, 5,000 pages, unlimited teammates, API keys, MCP server, webhooks, Slack/Zapier notifications.
• Scale: $199 per month ($166 annually). 15 websites, 20,000 AI replies, 20,000 pages, custom widget domain, client sub-workspaces, white-label.
• Overage (optional, paid plans): $8 per 1,000 extra AI replies ($6 on Scale). If off, the assistant pauses at the limit and visitors can still leave messages.
• Trial: paid plans may start with a 7-day trial for $7 that renews at the plan price until cancelled.

The only metered unit is an AI reply (one generated answer). Human replies are unlimited. There is no per-seat charge and no per-resolution charge.

• Versus Intercom/Fin, Zendesk, Help Scout: no per-seat and no per-resolution billing.
• Versus Chatbase, Chatling, Dante, DocsBot: no credit multipliers by model; one reply is one reply; no branding-removal fee on paid plans; multiple websites per plan.

Platforms and technical facts

Works on any website via a script tag (loader about 2 KB gzipped, chat frame about 10 KB, loaded on demand in an isolated iframe). Install guides exist for Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Framer, and Next.js/React. JavaScript API: open, close, toggle, identify, setContext. Answers stream in real time. Languages: the assistant replies in the visitor's language. Bot protection: allowed-domain checks, signed visitor tokens, rate limits, Cloudflare Turnstile on signup.

Data handling

Customer content and conversations are stored on SupportLime servers and Cloudflare. AI answers are generated with OpenAI models under API terms that do not train on customer data.
